Flexible Hydropower: EU Green Week Partner Event on «HydroFlex»

Hydropower has a long history in Europe and accounts for more than 30% of the renewable power production. This event, led by HydroFlex (Horizon2020 project), will present the role of hydropower, recent technological developments within European R&D projects along with environmental challenges and its mitigation and social acceptance. The event will focus on:

  • how hydropower will be the enabler of more renewable energy
  • how hydropower is a natural and green companion and support for increased development of other renewable energy sources such as wind and solar
