Marianne Hagen
State Secretary, Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Marianne Hagen became State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2017 after 9 years as head of communications at the Royal Court. Before her position at the Royal Court she was the advisor for the CEO at the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association.

Imad Mesdoua

As senior consultant on the Africa desk, Imad leads Control Risks’ political risk consultancy engagements in sub-Saharan Africa. In this role, he works closely with our extensive team of country analysts, business intelligence consultants and security risk management experts to deliver complex and sensitive consultancy engagements in Africa. He specialises in North and West Africa.

Roy Mutooni
Analyst for the ABSA Africa fund
18 years capital markets experience in South Africa and Kenya, covering private equity, consulting, stockbroking and asset management industries with extensive experience in the analysis of capital intensive and diversified industrial companies operating throughout Sub-Saharan Africa. Roy was ranked Top 5 on Financial Mail’s Analyst of the year survey between 2005 and 2014, and no. 1 on Institutional Investor’s Analyst survey for Construction and engineering in 2011. He is a CFA charterholder.

Kjell Roland
CEO Norfund
Kjell Roland is CEO of Norfund, a Development Finance Institution with the mandate to invest in profitable and sustainable enterprises in a number of the world’s poorest and most high-risk countries. Before joining Norfund in 2006, Mr. Roland spent two decades working as partner and CEO of the consultancy firm ECON Management AS and ECON Analysis, having co-founded ECON in 1986. He holds an MSc from the University of Oslo and has been a visiting scholar at the Department of Economics and the Department of Operations Research at Stanford University. |

Hanna Caroline Wirschke
Statoil and NABA Board Director
Ms. Hanna C. Wirschke is the Head of Communication -Operations, Technology & Partner-Operated Licenses, DPI for Statoil.
Ms. Wirschke has previously worked as Senior Political Analyst for Statoil for the region of Sub Saharan Africa, focusing on Global Strategy and Business Development. She has also worked as Financial and Political Risk analyst for the AKE Group in the United Kingdom. She holds an MA in International Peace and Security Studies from King’s College London. |
